The Boho Floral Top

Hey guys welcome back to my blog. Today I wanted to share a super cute and casual outfit for summer. I am wearing a royal blue floral top, some pink shorts, some Birkenstocks, and my favorite necklace. The bold colors of the look make the outfit more playful, but then having simple prints make the outfit more chill. To talk about the shirt I got it for only 10 bucks from Target which is a really good deal. My mom picked it out for me and I was like that is literally my style right there so I'm glad we found the top! I do have to say she has a good eye for what my style is.

To also mention why I'm looking away in all of these pictures it's because it was so bright outside and I couldn't see! I also wanted to try out some new poses because it seems like I always do the same pose in all of my outfit photos. Okay and is it just me or does my hair look like it's getting longer and blonder. I would really like that because I love long blonde hair. I've had short hair for the longest time and I'm trying to grow it out to change it up and to also be able to do more hairstyles with it.

Outfit details: My top is from Target, my shorts are from Target, my shoes are from Kohl's, my necklace is from the beach, and my glasses are from Coach.

That's all for today's post. I just wanted to share this outfit that I'm loving! I want to do a more motivational or inspirational post on Friday so we will see what I come up with. Until next time have a good one!

Fourth of July Outfit Ideas

Hey guys I'm back with another blog post. Today I wanted to share some fourth of July outfit ideas since the fourth of July is coming up. Also if you notice that the camera quality of these photos are a little different it's because my phone stopped charging and I'm going into apple on Tuesday to see what the problem is with it but I used my old phone to take these photos in the meantime.

This is the first look. I wanted this one to be comfortable and cute at the same time. I styled some denim shorts with a blue top and a white vest. To add a little bit of a pop I added two of my favorite necklaces.

Outfit details: my top is from LuLaRoe, my shorts are from Target, my vest is from Old Navy, my pearl necklace is from the beach, I'm not sure where my bar necklace is from, and my glasses are from Coach.

This is the second look. I decided to keep this look basic and casual. I am wearing a striped red top, and some denim shorts, and the pearl necklace from the first look. This is a good basic outfit and would be good for going out in the evening if it gets colder outside.

I love the bell sleeve detail on this top because it adds a fun element to the look and it makes the outfit look more sophisticated.

Outfit details: My top is from Anthropologie, my shorts are from Lucky Brand, my necklace is from the beach, and my glasses are from Coach.

Now this last look is a really fun look if want to look cute but a little bit sporty at the same time. I am wearing a striped off the shoulder top with some basic white shorts, and I topped it off with a USA hat, and some pink sunglasses.

This outfit would be so cute for a fourth of July party or an outing. The off the shoulder ruffle detail makes the look more fun and the white shorts really mix well with the top because they both match.

Outfit details: my top is from Tjmaxx, my shorts are from Target, my hat is from my best friend, my sunglasses are from Tjmaxx, and the necklace is from the beach.

How to Style Stripes For Summer

Hey guys! The stripe trend is here for summer, and I wanted to talk about how to style this super cute trend. Stripes can be paired with almost anything but what I usually do is balance out a printed piece of clothing with a more neutral, solid piece of clothing. This creates a sense of balance, and it's also playful because you can play with the print but you don't over do it. Now girl if you want to wear two different prints you are rocking it, and you do you. I'm just suggesting a more casual way to wear stripes if you want to wear it that way, but there are no rules to fashion.

In this look I styled a blue striped top with some basic pink shorts. If you have not noticed already I have been loving the colors pink, and blue paired together! I also wanted this look to look a little beachy chic so I added some sunglasses, some birkenstocks, and a couple of bracelets. This look is super cute for summer, and I can't wait to wear more outfits like this. To speak about this look, I have been wearing my look alike birks a ton! They are really comfy, and I love how they can look cute with almost any outfit. Also guys do I look more tan or what? Your girl has been going out in the sun a lot, and I think I look more tan. But let me know what you think.

Outfit Details: My top is from Old Navy, the shorts are from Target, the shoes are from Kohl's, the sunglasses are from T.J. Maxx, the blue watch is from Garmin, my bracelet is from Leo Mazzotti, and the ankle bracelet I made myself.

Thanks for tuning in, and you will see me again on Friday with a new post on what I'm packing for the Outer Banks next week. I'm so excited to be a beach bum because I am a true beach bum at heart! Plus I have never been to the Outer Banks before, and I heard it's totally awesome, so I can't wait.

The Denim Dress

Hey guys! So I just wanted to fill you in on life lately, and why I haven't been posting on social media as much. I am feeling over worked, and tired due to school, work, and my blog. I am so ready for this school year to end, and I really only have a little over a week left in school. I keep getting scheduled for five days a week at work, and it's honestly too much for me right now because I'm trying to wrap it up with school, and everything. The days that I do get off I always try to have fun, and I regret it later sometimes because I'm a workaholic, and when I take one day off I get behind on everything. For example I went to the pool yesterday with Gabby, and later got pizza with my friend Hannah, and went to the pool again. Now I'm behind on my blog work, but I for sure will never trade in friendship for blog work, and my blog can be put back for a week or so until I finish my junior year of high school. So for this last week or so I'm really going to be focusing on finishing up the semester, and working my butt off! It will be officially summer break for me on June 3rd, and I am really looking forward to it! For now if you only see me posing once a week on Instagram, it's only because I'm really trying to focus on school, and work right now. But once it's summer break I'll be posting a whole lot more, and I'm planning on posting twice a week on my blog, as well as posting more on Instagram.

Now to talk about the dress, I got this dress from my Grandma Rhonda when she visited here in North Carolina. It is super cute for spring, and summer because of how lightweight it is, and because of the floral embroidery at the bottom of the dress. Now in these photos it looks a little dreary due to the rainy weather, but in reality this dress is a very bright, and summery dress. I will be wearing this dress a lot this summer for sure.

Outfit Details: My dress is from Old Navy, my watch is from Garmin, and my glasses are from Coach.

I hope you guys enjoyed this look, and I hope you guys have a wonderful rest of your week. Next week I will be posting my favorite pool floaties for summer, so I will see you guys then.

A Trip to the Pottery Fair!

Getting fun with fashion is always great to do every now and then, and I did exactly that for this pottery fair. A couple of weeks ago I went to a pottery fair called Cedar Creek Gallery, and they had some cool stuff there. I wore an artistic kind of outfit because I wanted to fit the event. I wore some butterfly leggings, and a blue t shirt with some sandals paired with socks. The outfit was so comfortable, but also so cute at the same time.

There was a lot of cool pottery pieces there, but a lot of them were overpriced. That was the only downside of it, but all of the pieces are handmade so I can see how there is more value in them. There was also this really good bakery, and me and my best friend Gab split a mini pie. Now I'm not even a pottery person but some of the pottery pieces were so cool. Also the background that you see in the photos, those pieces are all glass. It's really cool what you can do with certain materials like glass, or clay, and it was fun seeing it all!

Gabby's black, and white look that she wore to the pottery fair. I love her shoes!

There was this one cool wall of handmade fish decor hanging things, and that was my favorite thing to see. The fish at the bottom left is my favorite! It was around one hundred and sixty dollars, and I wouldn't know what to do with it, but it's cool.

Outfit Details: My top is from Madewell, my leggings are from LuLaRoe, my shoes are from Target, my bag is from Kate Spade, my watch is from Garmin, and my glasses are from Coach.

I hope you guys enjoyed today's post! It was a lot of fun to see all of the different pottery pieces, and I hope you guys have a wonderful rest of your week.

Pairing White With Pink

There is no doubt that i love the color combination of pink, and white, and i recently put together this outfit, and i am in love. This outfit is so cute for a casual day out with friends, or even just visiting a lake or something. I love pink and white together, it's a really cute color combo for spring, and summer because it really creates a fresh look.

I am totally loving this boho kind of shirt. The sleeve details are so cute! This shirt is see through so you could use it as a beach cover-up, or just wear it with an undershirt if you're going to be wearing it as a regular top. I also want to tell you guys that I am off of spring break, and it feels so busy now. My spring break was fun, and i also worked a lot. I was very bored too because i had so much free time, i defiantly am suited for a busy lifestyle, so it's good to be back.

Outfit details: My top is from Target, my sunglasses are from Amazon, my shoes are from Kate Spade, my shorts are from Target, and my earrings are from Rose Gal.

I hope you guys enjoyed the look, and i will see you guys next week with another post. I really want to do a long personal post next week about something but i don't know what i want to write about yet. If you guys have any ideas you can comment below or reach out to me through Instagram. I just want to spread some positive vibes in the next post!! I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week, and thanks for tuning in.

Styling a High Waisted Floral Skirt

Hey guys I'm back with another lookbook after a very busy week last week. Your girl is going to fill you in on track real quick because i would like to say a couple things. So if you didn't know i run track, and cross country, i do. So I had a track meet over the weekend, and i got sun burnt so my face might look red in these pictures. I ran the two mile, and i ended up getting 12:50, so that was a good time because my personal record is 12:47. My team has also been doing a fundraiser, and I'm so thankful for everyone that supported my team by donating. I have raised 190 dollars, and my team has raised 2,909 dollars so far! We are doing great, and I'm so thankful to have lots of support for my team.

Now to speak of the outfit, I am seriously loving floral printed things for the spring. I cracked out this floral skirt that is usually a late spring/summer staple but I'm rocking it in the middle of March. I just can't wait for it to get warm for real because the weather right now is bipolar. This skirt is a vibrant floral skirt so i usually style it by tucking in a basic tee. It creates a cute, causal, and a tiny bit dressy look that i love. For accessorizing i wore this look with my Coach glasses because otherwise i would not be able to see, and i put in some white tassel earrings. I also topped it off with my beloved white Danskos because these are the perfect sandal.

Outfit Details: My top is from Target, my skirt is from Forever 21, my shoes are from Dansko, my earrings are from Rose Gal, my watch is from Garmin, and my glasses are from Coach.

I hope you guys got inspired for spring. I'll see you guys next week with more inspo, and i hope all of y'all have a great rest of your week.

Peplum and Leggings For Spring

Hi guys welcome back to another blog post. I am totally writing about spring even through it just snowed yesterday, but so be it. Can it just be spring already!!! Anyways today i wanted to share a look for spring that is super cute. It's just a simple casual outfit that is totally effortless, but yet still looks put together at the same time.

Me and Gabby actually took these photos at public when we were grocery shopping together. The wall at publix is seriously aesthetically pleasing so we had to do a photo shoot haha. I have been totally loving leggings lately because they are so comfy, and they also are super cute. I always style leggings with a more baggier top that way the look balances itself out. To talk about the weather while shooting these photos, it was actually not bad at all outside. It was not warm, but it wasn't cold either, so i was fine. I just can't wait for the warmer weather through.

Outfit details: My top is from Kohl's, my leggings are from Aerie, my boots are from Macy's. my watch is from Garmin, and my glasses are from Coach.

That is all for today's look. I hope you guys got some inspo from it, and I'll see you guys next Tuesday with another post.

A Little Athleisure Look

Hello guys I'm back with another post. Today I'll be sharing a cute athletic look because workout clothes are always so comfy, and such a must. It seems like i am always wearing workout clothes so i wanted to show a look where i am wearing workout clothes. I love this look because it's so comfy, yet also really cute. This look also shows off my legs a little bit too because the top is cropped, so you can see my build. I am a competitive runner so i do have some leg muscle on me. To talk about my pants, they are so comfy!!! I love wearing them, and they look great. If you also could not tell i am squinting in these photos because it was so bright outside while taking these pictures haha.

As you can also see i am posing with some Starbucks. I love Starbucks even through they are expensive, but what i do is only go there when i have a gift card. It's like girl who wants to pay 5 dollars for a drink?? Not me, but i love their frappes, and some of their fruit refreshers are good. Also shout out to my best friend who took these photos for me. I am so grateful for her because she is such an amazing friend, and has always been there for me no matter what. I am kind of going through a tough time right now with my old friend Sarah, and I'm taking steps to make it better, and having a best friend to help me through it all means so much. If want to read more about friendship, and what's going on you can read about it here

Outfit Details: My top is from Gamiss, my running pants are from Nike, my shoes are from Nike, my watch is from Garmin, and my glasses are from Coach.
