The Boho Floral Top

Hey guys welcome back to my blog. Today I wanted to share a super cute and casual outfit for summer. I am wearing a royal blue floral top, some pink shorts, some Birkenstocks, and my favorite necklace. The bold colors of the look make the outfit more playful, but then having simple prints make the outfit more chill. To talk about the shirt I got it for only 10 bucks from Target which is a really good deal. My mom picked it out for me and I was like that is literally my style right there so I'm glad we found the top! I do have to say she has a good eye for what my style is.

To also mention why I'm looking away in all of these pictures it's because it was so bright outside and I couldn't see! I also wanted to try out some new poses because it seems like I always do the same pose in all of my outfit photos. Okay and is it just me or does my hair look like it's getting longer and blonder. I would really like that because I love long blonde hair. I've had short hair for the longest time and I'm trying to grow it out to change it up and to also be able to do more hairstyles with it.

Outfit details: My top is from Target, my shorts are from Target, my shoes are from Kohl's, my necklace is from the beach, and my glasses are from Coach.

That's all for today's post. I just wanted to share this outfit that I'm loving! I want to do a more motivational or inspirational post on Friday so we will see what I come up with. Until next time have a good one!

Seeing Sunflowers

Hey guys today I wanted to share some photos from when I visited Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh. They currently have five acres of sunflowers there right now and it is open to the public. I went around midday so that might be why these photos look very bright and shadowy but I got a couple of good photos so it was all good.

I tried getting a close up photo of me and it turned out a little shadowy but I still like it. To also talk about my outfit I am wearing a patterned dress from T.J Maxx, my necklace is from the beach, and my glasses are from Coach. I decided to wear the dress to the sunflower field because of the cool criss cross back detailing on the dress, and the print is really cute for summer.

I love the way these sunflowers look! They are really pretty and it was very worth the drive to go see them. To also speak about my content lately I have really been spending time outdoors this summer so you guys might see more of that kind of thing on this blog but there will always still be fashion. I'm just getting a little bored of having it be only fashion so I want to change it up a little bit. If you guys have any suggestions on what you guys want to see from me you can always send me a dm on Instagram or leave a comment below.

That was all for this post! I hope you guys liked this post and I will see you guys with an updated room tour! Until then take care.

Fourth of July Outfit Ideas

Hey guys I'm back with another blog post. Today I wanted to share some fourth of July outfit ideas since the fourth of July is coming up. Also if you notice that the camera quality of these photos are a little different it's because my phone stopped charging and I'm going into apple on Tuesday to see what the problem is with it but I used my old phone to take these photos in the meantime.

This is the first look. I wanted this one to be comfortable and cute at the same time. I styled some denim shorts with a blue top and a white vest. To add a little bit of a pop I added two of my favorite necklaces.

Outfit details: my top is from LuLaRoe, my shorts are from Target, my vest is from Old Navy, my pearl necklace is from the beach, I'm not sure where my bar necklace is from, and my glasses are from Coach.

This is the second look. I decided to keep this look basic and casual. I am wearing a striped red top, and some denim shorts, and the pearl necklace from the first look. This is a good basic outfit and would be good for going out in the evening if it gets colder outside.

I love the bell sleeve detail on this top because it adds a fun element to the look and it makes the outfit look more sophisticated.

Outfit details: My top is from Anthropologie, my shorts are from Lucky Brand, my necklace is from the beach, and my glasses are from Coach.

Now this last look is a really fun look if want to look cute but a little bit sporty at the same time. I am wearing a striped off the shoulder top with some basic white shorts, and I topped it off with a USA hat, and some pink sunglasses.

This outfit would be so cute for a fourth of July party or an outing. The off the shoulder ruffle detail makes the look more fun and the white shorts really mix well with the top because they both match.

Outfit details: my top is from Tjmaxx, my shorts are from Target, my hat is from my best friend, my sunglasses are from Tjmaxx, and the necklace is from the beach.

Beach Vacation Outfit Ideas

Hey guys welcome back to another blog post. Since I am leaving for the Outer Banks this morning I thought I would share some beach vacation outfit ideas inspired by some common beach activities. I have three looks to show you guys. The first one is a look for a day of boating, the second one is a walking around town look, and the third look is a look for the beach. I hope you guys enjoy these looks, and I am so excited to share with you guys my Outer Banks photos after my trip!

For the boating look I went for something that had a nautical vibe but also something comfortable to wear. The color scheme of this outfit is also white and blue which is a cute color scheme for boating. I love the fish earrings, they are just adorable! I also added some Vineyard Vines pieces in the look to add to the boating vibe because pretty much anything vineyard vines has a cute coastal southern vibe which is what I was going for with this look.

For the walking around town look I wanted the outfit to have a casual vibe with a little bit of a dressy touch to it. The top and the shorts create a casual beachy vibe to the outfit. To add the little bit of dressiness to the look I added a Kate Spade clutch, and some ankle bracelets. I also had to throw some birks to the look because birks are so cute, and the perfect summer sandal!

For the beachin it look I wanted to have a pretty basic beach look. I have a super cute tropical bikini in the look, and to add a beach mermaid vibe to the look I added some starfish earrings. Of course I had to add the pattleboard that I have been lusting over!! If you guys didn't know my birthday is coming up next month and the number one thing I want is an inflatable pattleboard. They are just so cool, and I'm always hanging out by the water so I would use it so much. It's something that I want to get into and start doing because it looks really fun.

Well that is all for the looks! I hope you guys liked the looks, and I hope you guys liked my awesome beachy graphics that I added to the photos. I will see you guys on Friday with all of my Outer Banks photos!!

What I'm Packing for the Outer Banks

As you guys may or may not know already I am going to the Outer Banks next week, and specifically we are staying in Nags Head Island. We are staying there for two nights, and I can't wait!! I thought I would share with you guys what I'm packing, and I'm pretty sure this is all I'm packing but if I forgot something then I will be sure to pack it. I might bring another pair of sunglasses just for photo reasons maybe, but we will see. Speaking of the Outer Banks I guess there is two great white sharks that are lurking near the NC coast as of right now, so that was almost perfect timing for the beach trip haha. So since there are two great white sharks on the loose I think I will only go in the water where I can see the bottom because I am not trying to get eaten.

Now on to what clothing I am packing for the Outer Banks! So I am packing two beachy dresses, two pairs of shorts, two tops, cozy socks for night time, pajamas, two pairs of shoes, two hats, and some sunglasses. I am so excited to take some cute photos at the Outer Banks while wearing beachy outfits. I am hoping to relax, and get a lot of good content for my blog, and Instagram.

Now on to swim suits I'm bringing. I am bringing these three bikinis and I may end up mix matching them or something. I am bringing three that way I always have a dry bikini to wear, and I can also wear different styles!

Lastly these are the beauty products I am going to bring. I am bringing the basics pretty much that way I can save some space in my bag. One thing that is a total must for every beach trip is sunscreen and after sun because it's so easy to get burnt while you are at the beach.

Alright guys that is what I'm packing for the Outer Banks!! I can't wait to post all about it once I get there. On Tuesday there will be a blog post about beach vacation outfit ideas so be sure to check it out once it gets posted on Tuesday.

How to Style Stripes For Summer

Hey guys! The stripe trend is here for summer, and I wanted to talk about how to style this super cute trend. Stripes can be paired with almost anything but what I usually do is balance out a printed piece of clothing with a more neutral, solid piece of clothing. This creates a sense of balance, and it's also playful because you can play with the print but you don't over do it. Now girl if you want to wear two different prints you are rocking it, and you do you. I'm just suggesting a more casual way to wear stripes if you want to wear it that way, but there are no rules to fashion.

In this look I styled a blue striped top with some basic pink shorts. If you have not noticed already I have been loving the colors pink, and blue paired together! I also wanted this look to look a little beachy chic so I added some sunglasses, some birkenstocks, and a couple of bracelets. This look is super cute for summer, and I can't wait to wear more outfits like this. To speak about this look, I have been wearing my look alike birks a ton! They are really comfy, and I love how they can look cute with almost any outfit. Also guys do I look more tan or what? Your girl has been going out in the sun a lot, and I think I look more tan. But let me know what you think.

Outfit Details: My top is from Old Navy, the shorts are from Target, the shoes are from Kohl's, the sunglasses are from T.J. Maxx, the blue watch is from Garmin, my bracelet is from Leo Mazzotti, and the ankle bracelet I made myself.

Thanks for tuning in, and you will see me again on Friday with a new post on what I'm packing for the Outer Banks next week. I'm so excited to be a beach bum because I am a true beach bum at heart! Plus I have never been to the Outer Banks before, and I heard it's totally awesome, so I can't wait.

Summer Break Plans!

Hey guys! I know this post is a day late past my posting schedule but I have finally made it to summer break, and I have a lot of fun stuff planned this summer so I thought I would share. Since I will have a lot more free time over summer I am going to start being more active on social media, and posting more. I also want to start posting two blog posts a week, one on Tuesday, and one on Friday every week until summer break is over. The next thing that I will be doing over summer is relaxing, and chilling with my friends. I want to make this summer to be a summer I will not forget, and I want to have lots of fun. And while I'm not blogging or hanging out with people I will continue working part time like how I am now. I may look for more hours over summer break so I can make some more money. I would probably like around 20-25 hours a week. I'm also so excited for cross country workouts this summer with my team, It will be so fun! Speaking of cross country, I am also going to cross country camp with my team in late July up in Brevard, NC. I am such a mountain girl so I cannot wait to go to camp up there. The only thing about it through is that it is intense training, but I think I can handle it. I am also going to the Outer Banks in two weeks! We are staying in Nags Head, and I cannot wait to go be the beach bum that I am. I am also pretty sure I'm going to Gaston Lake with my best friend this summer too, so that will be super nice.

Now onto my #summergoals! My goals for this summer are to really focus on my cross country training, and slay the summer workouts. I also want to start being a little bit healthier over summer, and I want to start drinking more water. I also want to start working a tiny bit more, and I really want to get my license this summer. I am really close to having enough hours of driving to get my licence, so that is something I want to do for sure.

Outfit Details: My dress is from Belk, my hat is from Vineyard Vines, my watch is from Garmin, and my glasses are from Coach.

That was all of my summer plans! I would love to hear what you guys have planned for the summer in the comments. And I will start the two posts a week thing next week so I will have a new post on Tuesday, and Friday next week.

The Denim Dress

Hey guys! So I just wanted to fill you in on life lately, and why I haven't been posting on social media as much. I am feeling over worked, and tired due to school, work, and my blog. I am so ready for this school year to end, and I really only have a little over a week left in school. I keep getting scheduled for five days a week at work, and it's honestly too much for me right now because I'm trying to wrap it up with school, and everything. The days that I do get off I always try to have fun, and I regret it later sometimes because I'm a workaholic, and when I take one day off I get behind on everything. For example I went to the pool yesterday with Gabby, and later got pizza with my friend Hannah, and went to the pool again. Now I'm behind on my blog work, but I for sure will never trade in friendship for blog work, and my blog can be put back for a week or so until I finish my junior year of high school. So for this last week or so I'm really going to be focusing on finishing up the semester, and working my butt off! It will be officially summer break for me on June 3rd, and I am really looking forward to it! For now if you only see me posing once a week on Instagram, it's only because I'm really trying to focus on school, and work right now. But once it's summer break I'll be posting a whole lot more, and I'm planning on posting twice a week on my blog, as well as posting more on Instagram.

Now to talk about the dress, I got this dress from my Grandma Rhonda when she visited here in North Carolina. It is super cute for spring, and summer because of how lightweight it is, and because of the floral embroidery at the bottom of the dress. Now in these photos it looks a little dreary due to the rainy weather, but in reality this dress is a very bright, and summery dress. I will be wearing this dress a lot this summer for sure.

Outfit Details: My dress is from Old Navy, my watch is from Garmin, and my glasses are from Coach.

I hope you guys enjoyed this look, and I hope you guys have a wonderful rest of your week. Next week I will be posting my favorite pool floaties for summer, so I will see you guys then.

Cute Swimsuits for Spring, and Summer

#1 top#1 bottoms#2 one piece#3 top#3 bottoms#4 one piece#5 bottoms#5 bikini top#6 bikini top#6 bottoms

With the weather warming up, and pools starting to open, I thought I would share some cute swimsuits that can spark some ideas for what you could be wearing this spring/summer. I totally live in swimsuits during spring, and summer, and I also wanted to share some of the swimsuits that I've been wearing recently, and some I wore last summer. So to start out this post I would say that choosing a swimsuit can be hard because it has to be comfortable. When I choose a swimsuit it can be hard because I'm really petite, and I wear a double zero, so some companies don't have sizes that small. Some places that I have had luck at are Target, Zaful, Walmart, and Rose Gal. I feel like you should always try it on before you buy it, but if buying online be sure that the measurements match up to your body before you buy. Personally I am a bikini person, and I love a floral or striped swimsuit, and even plain colors I like to wear too.

This is a photo from last summer. I got the top from Target, and I got the bottoms from Walmart. I am usually not a Walmart girl but when I was there with Gab last year Walmart actually pulled through with cute bikini bottoms that fit. I would not recommend Walmart for cute swimsuits because not a lot of them are cute, but if you are looking for a variety of cute swimsuits I would go to Target.

I am wearing the same Walmart bottoms in this photo, and my top is from Rose Gal. I like these paired together because the bottoms have the same color pink in them as the top. This is too funny because I had a partnership with Rose Gal a little back in the winter, and I got credit to their site, and I stocked up on summer swim suits. I was literally so ready for warm weather when it was winter, and now i can finally wear my swimsuits.

I love this striped swimsuit from Gamiss. I also had a partnership with them so I bought this striped bikini with my credit. I really love this one because it's off the shoulder, and I could totally see myself strutting the beach wearing this. I'm so excited because I'm going to the Outer Banks in June, and I will totally be rocking this bikini for sure.

Lastly I paired the pink bikini top from Rose Gal with the bikini bottoms from Gamiss. I feel like I look really fashionable in this photo, and definitely looking like a statue I feel like. But hey I love the combo! I can't wait to wear all of my swimsuits in the pool once Gabs pool opens. I literally went to the pool with her everyday last summer, and I plan on doing the same thing once it's summer break. Anyways guys I hope you guys got some inspo, and I will be back next week with another post.
