Fourth of July Outfit Ideas

Hey guys I'm back with another blog post. Today I wanted to share some fourth of July outfit ideas since the fourth of July is coming up. Also if you notice that the camera quality of these photos are a little different it's because my phone stopped charging and I'm going into apple on Tuesday to see what the problem is with it but I used my old phone to take these photos in the meantime.

This is the first look. I wanted this one to be comfortable and cute at the same time. I styled some denim shorts with a blue top and a white vest. To add a little bit of a pop I added two of my favorite necklaces.

Outfit details: my top is from LuLaRoe, my shorts are from Target, my vest is from Old Navy, my pearl necklace is from the beach, I'm not sure where my bar necklace is from, and my glasses are from Coach.

This is the second look. I decided to keep this look basic and casual. I am wearing a striped red top, and some denim shorts, and the pearl necklace from the first look. This is a good basic outfit and would be good for going out in the evening if it gets colder outside.

I love the bell sleeve detail on this top because it adds a fun element to the look and it makes the outfit look more sophisticated.

Outfit details: My top is from Anthropologie, my shorts are from Lucky Brand, my necklace is from the beach, and my glasses are from Coach.

Now this last look is a really fun look if want to look cute but a little bit sporty at the same time. I am wearing a striped off the shoulder top with some basic white shorts, and I topped it off with a USA hat, and some pink sunglasses.

This outfit would be so cute for a fourth of July party or an outing. The off the shoulder ruffle detail makes the look more fun and the white shorts really mix well with the top because they both match.

Outfit details: my top is from Tjmaxx, my shorts are from Target, my hat is from my best friend, my sunglasses are from Tjmaxx, and the necklace is from the beach.

That is all for this post! I hope you guys got some good ideas for this fourth of July!! I will see you guys on Tuesday with another post. Take care!

How to Style Stripes For Summer

Hey guys! The stripe trend is here for summer, and I wanted to talk about how to style this super cute trend. Stripes can be paired with almost anything but what I usually do is balance out a printed piece of clothing with a more neutral, solid piece of clothing. This creates a sense of balance, and it's also playful because you can play with the print but you don't over do it. Now girl if you want to wear two different prints you are rocking it, and you do you. I'm just suggesting a more casual way to wear stripes if you want to wear it that way, but there are no rules to fashion.

In this look I styled a blue striped top with some basic pink shorts. If you have not noticed already I have been loving the colors pink, and blue paired together! I also wanted this look to look a little beachy chic so I added some sunglasses, some birkenstocks, and a couple of bracelets. This look is super cute for summer, and I can't wait to wear more outfits like this. To speak about this look, I have been wearing my look alike birks a ton! They are really comfy, and I love how they can look cute with almost any outfit. Also guys do I look more tan or what? Your girl has been going out in the sun a lot, and I think I look more tan. But let me know what you think.

Outfit Details: My top is from Old Navy, the shorts are from Target, the shoes are from Kohl's, the sunglasses are from T.J. Maxx, the blue watch is from Garmin, my bracelet is from Leo Mazzotti, and the ankle bracelet I made myself.

Thanks for tuning in, and you will see me again on Friday with a new post on what I'm packing for the Outer Banks next week. I'm so excited to be a beach bum because I am a true beach bum at heart! Plus I have never been to the Outer Banks before, and I heard it's totally awesome, so I can't wait.

Lots of Love For Flamingos

Happy first day of May! I can't believe that it is already May, this year has just flown by so fast. It's been pretty warm for the most part, but the nights, and mornings are still a little chilly. With summer around the corner I wanted to share this super cute flamingo outfit that my grandma Rhonda got me when we went shopping together, and then I also want to share some of my favorite flamingo items on shop style collective. So to start out with the look I got everything except the sunglasses, and the watch from Old Navy. They are currently having their 40% off sale on the whole store, and they had lots of cute stuff. Also this post is not sponsored by Old Navy, I wish I was sponsored through haha.

For this outfit I'm sure the first thing you notice is the shorts, and they are sleep shorts I'm pretty sure, but you cold honestly just wear them as regular shorts. The material of them is like a bed linen material, so they are soft but still have a normal short vibe to them if you get what I mean. I think the shorts are just adorable for spring, and summer. To match the shorts we found a tank top that perfectly matches the flamingos on the shorts. When I was trying on this outfit I tucked the tank top into the shorts, and I was like wallah! The tank looks really good tucked in, so I will be wearing it as pictured for sure.

Now onto accessories! I of course had to include this cute flamingo clutch. I love how the two flamingos are kissing kind of, it's so cute. This clutch looks super good with this look, but you could even wear a clutch like this for a tropical vacay. I also wore pink sunglasses to add to the all the pink in this outfit, and make the look more fun. I am also wearing my Garmin running watch because I am a runner, and I like to keep track of my daily step count using this watch. You probably see this watch in all my photos, and that is because of the daily step count thing.

To speak about running too, my 4 by 8 relay team qualified for regionals over the weekend, and set a new school record of 10.03 for the 4 by 8 relay. Basically if you don't know what the 4 by 8 relay is, it is basically when you run a half mile all out, and then you hand off the baton to your other teammate, and you basically go down a line of handing it off once you are done with your 800 meters, and in total four people run on the team. It's a pretty fun event, and everyone always jokes around and says that I'm the most competitive, fierce one in the group, and I will agree with that because I don't let anyone win but us. Let's just say I'm really competitive, and I'll sprint the whole last lap, and I'll purposely sprint when I hear footsteps coming up behind me, so you can say I'm gone. It was pretty funny because when I was at state championships I stayed in fourth place on pace with these other girls for the first 1 and a half laps, and then I took off on that last 200 meters, and I won the race by like almost a half lap. I seriously went flying, and no one could even remotely catch up. I don't want to rub it in or anything, I just like to talk about it because you can do it too, and not let anything stand in your way. I want to do a blog post soon about running to talk about my track season, and everything because I don't want to ramble too much on here, so a post will be out soon about it.

Outfit details: The top is from Old Navy, the shorts are from Old Navy, the Clutch is from Old Navy, the watch is from Garmin, and the sunglasses are from Amazon.

Now let's get into my flamingo picks!

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

All of these things are so cute!! The pool floatie is my favorite because just look how cute it is!! You know what's funny is when it was winter I was telling all my friends that I want a pink flamingo pool floatie for summer, and that for the instagram picture on the flamingo I would wear a pink bikini to match the flamingo. Like that is literally picture goals, so I might do it this summer, I just have to get a flamingo floatie first. But anyways I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and I hope you got some ideas from it. I will see you guys next week with another post. Have a good one!

Pairing White With Pink

There is no doubt that i love the color combination of pink, and white, and i recently put together this outfit, and i am in love. This outfit is so cute for a casual day out with friends, or even just visiting a lake or something. I love pink and white together, it's a really cute color combo for spring, and summer because it really creates a fresh look.

I am totally loving this boho kind of shirt. The sleeve details are so cute! This shirt is see through so you could use it as a beach cover-up, or just wear it with an undershirt if you're going to be wearing it as a regular top. I also want to tell you guys that I am off of spring break, and it feels so busy now. My spring break was fun, and i also worked a lot. I was very bored too because i had so much free time, i defiantly am suited for a busy lifestyle, so it's good to be back.

Outfit details: My top is from Target, my sunglasses are from Amazon, my shoes are from Kate Spade, my shorts are from Target, and my earrings are from Rose Gal.

I hope you guys enjoyed the look, and i will see you guys next week with another post. I really want to do a long personal post next week about something but i don't know what i want to write about yet. If you guys have any ideas you can comment below or reach out to me through Instagram. I just want to spread some positive vibes in the next post!! I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week, and thanks for tuning in.

Peplum and Leggings For Spring

Hi guys welcome back to another blog post. I am totally writing about spring even through it just snowed yesterday, but so be it. Can it just be spring already!!! Anyways today i wanted to share a look for spring that is super cute. It's just a simple casual outfit that is totally effortless, but yet still looks put together at the same time.

Me and Gabby actually took these photos at public when we were grocery shopping together. The wall at publix is seriously aesthetically pleasing so we had to do a photo shoot haha. I have been totally loving leggings lately because they are so comfy, and they also are super cute. I always style leggings with a more baggier top that way the look balances itself out. To talk about the weather while shooting these photos, it was actually not bad at all outside. It was not warm, but it wasn't cold either, so i was fine. I just can't wait for the warmer weather through.

Outfit details: My top is from Kohl's, my leggings are from Aerie, my boots are from Macy's. my watch is from Garmin, and my glasses are from Coach.

That is all for today's look. I hope you guys got some inspo from it, and I'll see you guys next Tuesday with another post.

A Little Boho Chic

Hey guys i know this is kind of a late post because normally i post right in the morning, but i have been so busy with work, school, and track that i don't really have any posts pre-written. It's been hard with managing everything lately, and i hope you guys can understand my struggle. #reallife. I asked for less hours so then i can still manage everything, and i only have 18 and a half hours of work this week, so not too bad. But anyways here is a cute winter to spring transition look.

I totally love this top from Target! It is super cute, and Target is seriously awesome because all of their stuff is so cute. To speak about these photos, i took them a while back when it was literally 20 degrees out. My face looks kind of weird in these pictures, but i think it's just the angle haha. There is this greenway near my house, and i took these photos on the greenway because i wanted to change up the setting a bit. I love the simple but boho vibe of this outfit. The top is what makes it a bit boho, and i  actually quite like it even through i don't have boho style.

Outfit details: My top is from Target, my jeans are from Gap, my heels are from Kohl's, and my glasses are from Coach.

I hope you enjoyed this look, and i will actually be posting on Friday this week because i will have Friday, and Saturday off from work. I also have state championships this Saturday for track, and i'm so excited but nervous. I'm literally going to book it as fast as i can go, and if i throw up after, or cause my legs to give out it's okay just as long as we win. I'm going to try to vlog at the meet maybe, and add a little clip of me booking it. I've also been working on a spring look book video lately, and it will be out once i have all the clips put together. I can't wait to see how it will turn out. Stay tuned, and i just wanted to update you guys a little bit about what's going on, and such. I will see you guys on Friday with some valentines day inspo! Have a good one.

The Striped Top

Oh how i love to pose in the freezing cold acting like it's actually warm outside. My best friend Gabby took these photos for me while it was 16  degrees outside. I am seriously sick of the cold, can it just be spring already!! But on the bright side i really like these photos, they have a city girl kind of vibe that i like. We took these photos in the neighborhood right next to my neighborhood because the design of the houses are really cute, and modern. I love small, cute houses, with lots of bright light, so this was the perfect location to shoot these photos. We were rushing a bit to take these photos because of the cold obviously, but the photos we got turned out great.

I love this striped top that i got from Anthropologie recently. They were having a big sale after Christmas, and i got this shirt for around 30 bucks, and it would have normally been around 65. I love the flared sleeves paired with the stripes, it looks super cute. I am also wearing my jeans from Kohls to make the look more casual, and well balanced. I know this outfit is not very winter appropriate, but i'm getting too excited this year for warm weather, so this is a good spring look. I think we still have three more months of the cold through, which sucks. I just want it to be April already because the leaves start getting back on the trees near the end of April, and it starts warming up. This week has not been bad at all when it comes to cold actually. Today we are supposed to have a 66 degree day, so that's awesome. The only thing about today is that i have exams, and then my last winter track meet right after so i will have no time at all for blogging, so this post might underperform, but that's okay. To talk about freezing my toes off i am wearing my favorite sandals from Dansko. I also spiced up the outfit with a couple of bracelets, and my wood watch from Jord.

Outfit Details: My top is from Anthropologie, my pants are from Kohls, my shoes are from Dansko, my watch is from Jord, and my glasses are from Coach.

That's all for today's look. I hope you guys enjoyed, and i will see you guys on Tuesday with another post.

Reading Up

Hello guys I'm going to be posting more fashion related posts this week because last week i did not do a look book or anything, so both of my two posts this week will be look books. These photos i took a while ago it seems like, even through it was not that long ago. This look book is inspired by Sunday mornings because Sunday mornings are most of the time relaxing. In this look book I'm shooting with a magazine. I get a lot of fashion magazines in the mail for free, and it seems like i can't find time to ever read them so they pile up in a basket. But in this look book i was reading this Elle magazine, and i enjoy the Elle magazine because it always inspires with outfit ideas, and the way the magazine is designed graphically is very visually appealing.

I'm back with the Christmas pillow in the background, on my last post so many of you guys commented about my Christmas pillow. It is really the bomb! Now to talk about the outfit i am wearing a pajama top from Kohls that i actually got two years ago for like six dollars or something like that, it was really cheap and cute, and it had my initial on it. That was a good deal, like for real guys you gotta go to Kohl's because that's where the deals are going on. It seems like in all of my Instagram pictures i tag Kohl's because a lot of my clothing is from there. Next i am wearing my beloved pink pants from Loft, i love the color pink so pink pants are a must. To match the pink theme i am wearing heels from Kohls yet again, and i also paired the outfit with my pink bow bag from Kate Spade. I really love this look because it's something i would totally wear out in public if i could get away with it. Like you can kind of tell that it's a pajama top, and people would be like what on earth, and I'd be like "this is fashion". It is fashion through like the pajama trend was literally a thing in 2017, and hopefully 2018.

Also if you guys want to know what I'm sitting on i just put a mini bench underneath me, and then threw my comforter over it, and i added a couple of pillows to make the sitting bench look cute for this look book. I'm seriously loving all the pink in these photos because it looks so cute, and i don't know but this year i have gotten more girly for some reason, i have no idea why, it just kind of happened. You know this is off topic but i was just thinking about blog posts, and i want to do a post on my style through middle school to now, kind of like a timeline of how my style evolved. I think it would be super funny, and so cringe worthy, but i want to do it because y'all middle school was a time of weirdness for me, let's just put it at that. If you guys would like me to do it you can message me, or leave a comment below, and get ready to be laughing. I don't really do funny posts that much so i want to throw in one here and there, when i can.

Outfit details: My top is from Kohls, my pants are from Loft, my heels are from Kohls, my watch is from Jord Watches, my bag is from Kate Spade, and my my glasses are from Coach. Also the comforter is Kohls, the Christmas pillow is from Target, the artwork i made myself, and my grey pillow is from Pier one.

That's all for today's post. I hope you guys enjoyed, and if you want to have a funny style evolution post be sure to message me or comment below, it will be funny. I will see you guys on Friday with another outfit post. Have a good one!
