My Favorite Vegan Smoothie Recipies

Smoothie Bowl

Hey guys so I'm back and I wanted to announce that I will be doing new blog posts every Wednesday. Lately I've been proud of my Instagram content but not so much with my blog. I used to post on my blog twice a week and now it's like I only do one or two posts per month. So I want to get back into it and crank out some good content that I feel inspired by. So today I will be sharing my favorite vegan smoothie recipes.

Daily Smoothie

This is the one that I do the most out of all of these and it's so good like the title says. So for this recipe you will need...
-2 bananas
-2 spoonfuls of oats
-A berry mix (I use  strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries)
-A splash of orange juice

Now you will just add that mix to a blender and you will just blend until it's done

Granola Smoothie Bowl

This recipe is perfect for breakfast since it involves granola. So for this one you will need...
-A cup of mixed berries (same mixture as the previous recipe)
-One banana
-One peeled tangerine
-A splash of water
-A handful of granola on top

Now you will just add that everything but the granola to a blender and you will just blend until it's done
Then sprinkle the granola on there and you are done!

Berry Swirl Ice Cream

This one is my favorite out of these recipes. It literally tastes like heaven and it's like ice cream but it's completely vegan! So what you need for this recipe is...
-Three or four frozen bananas
-A splash of almond milk
-Splash of water
-Berry mix (same mix I used for the other recipes)

So you will put the bananas in the blender with a splash of almond milk and you will blend until it's done. Make sure you don't over blend because the mixture is supposed to be a little thick. The mixture is also supposed to be a light yellow color.

Then you will put your mixture in a bowl and clean your blender

After it's clean you will throw in the berry mix with a splash of water and you will blend that until it's done.

Then you will take out a jar or a bowl(I recommend a mason jar), and you will pour in the banana mixture first and then you will pour your berry mix on top. You can really layer it however you want but this is the way I recommend. It's like a layered taste and it's so good!!

That's all the recipes I have for you guys today. I hope you enjoyed! If you want more recipes that I didn't share on here today you can actually go to my Instagram and click on the healthy eats highlight and I have a couple more recipes on there that y'all can check out. See you guys next Wednesday!

What I eat in a day

Hello guys. I thought I would share what I eat in a day because I always find other people's posts about this so interesting, so I thought I would share what I eat in a day. So let's get into it!

Smoothie Bowl

So today I had a brunch kind of deal going on. In the morning I like to eat something light, so today I'm going in for a smoothie bowl. The ingredients are listed down below. So to make this all you have to do is mix up all the ingredients in a blender, and then you're set to go! I added the second banana on top of the bowl for decoration because I'm just that kind of girl.

Ingredients

Dark chocolate flavored almonds

As a snack between brunch, and dinner I had some dark chocolate flavored almonds. These are so good, and still a little healthy. I just had a small bowl of these because I got hungry.

Pasta Bowl

Now onto dinner, my biggest meal of the day. So for dinner I decided to do a bowl of pasta. I've been eating a lot of pasta lately since my cross country season started, and pasta is always a good thing for runners since it gives you energy. So all you have to do to make this pasta is boil the pasta, then add all the ingredients to it.

That's all that I ate today! Thanks for checking out this post. I'll see you guys next Wednesday with another post.

How I make my smoothies

Today I'm going to be telling you how I make my smoothies. I make a lot of smoothies so I thought I would tell you guys what I put in my smoothies. So let's get started.
Ingredients:
-Berry Medley
It's good to use a mix of berries in a smoothie because it tastes better, and you get a mix of vitamins too. The one that my family uses includes blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. With this combination, I receive lots of  vitamins. From the blueberries I receive vitamin K,vitamin C, and Manganese. From the Blackberries I receive vitamin E, Folate, Magnesium, Potassium, Dietary fiber, Vitamin K. Manganese, and Vitamin C. From the raspberries I receive vitamin C. Manganese, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin E, Magnesium, Folate, Omega-3, and Potassium. So dang that's a lot of vitamins. The reason why I'm saying all the vitamins that are in these foods are because I want to encourage you, my readers to be healthy.
-One Banana
I include one banana because this adds a more tropical and fruity taste to the smoothie and it has a good source of Vitamin B6 and Vitamin C.
-Wheat Germ
You may be wondering, what is wheat germ? Basically wheat germ is the part of wheat that spouts into a new plant. It's very rich in vitamins, minerals, and protein. What I receive from the wheat germ is vitamin E, folic acid, magnesium, vitamin B, phosphorous, and zinc. The good thing is that you can't even taste it in the smoothie either, so aye why not get healthy and have it taste good.
-Iodine
This is probably another one that you may be wondering what it is. So Iodine is a mineral, and basically you just put it in drinks, and it gives you that mineral. A lot of people are deficient in iodine and that is bad because you need iodine for your thyroid hormones. More than 96 percent of over 5,000 patients tested were iodine deficient, in a clinical study conducted by thyroid expert Dr. David Brownstein. And that's crazy. Iodine has a lot of benefits such as increasing your energy levels, balancing your thyroid, protects from cancer and pathogens, and it improves hair growth-if you're trying to grow out your hair.
-Filtered Water
Make sure you use filtered water if you're going to use water. Orange juice or almond milk would be another good option too.

Steps:
-Put all the Ingredients in the smoothie blender container

-Put the top on then blend until you think it's well blended

Turn off the blender, then enjoy

How to make chicken alfredo pasta

Ingredients
-One chicken strip
-Alfredo sauce
-Mozzerella cheese
-Goat cheese
-Pasta
You can use any type of pasta you want but I'm using shell pasta

These are the chicken strips that I used. You can use any kind of chicken, so anything works.

Goat cheese is really good but you only need to use a little amount because it's so rich.

The Alfredo sauce makes it the pasta so don't be afraid to put lots of Alfredo in the pasta

For the mozzarella cheese you can use whatever one you have, it really does not have to be specific. I'm using a little bit of this mozzarella cheese ball thing.

Preparation
-Pop a chicken strip in the oven at 400 degrees
-Cook until it looks done(usually takes around 20 minutes)

-Put a decent amount of pasta in a pan with water and put it on the stove.
-Put the cooking setting on high, 9, 8, or 7
-Boil the pasta

-Once everything is done cooking, drain the pasta and take the chicken strip out of the oven.
-Put the pasta in a bowl and put the chicken on a cutting board
-Cut up the chicken into tiny pieces then put it in the bowl
-Throw in your Alfredo sauce and then all the cheese
-and then boom your done

This pasta tasted so good!

This is a closeup of the pasta just so you can see how great it looks. It tastes just as good as it looks.

You will also need a blender for making this desert

Steps:
1)Put all your ingredients in the blender
2)Put less orange juice than you normally would in the blender
3)Start blending(Make sure to not blend it that much since you want it to be thick. A good amount of time to blend is 7 seconds)
4)Stop the blender and get out a spoon
5)Your done!
