My Favorite Summer Look

Hey guys, I thought today I would share my favorite summer look. I'm collaborating with another blogger named Chrisa for this post. I love all her looks, she puts together the cutest outfits. She's a fashion and lifestyle blogger, a youtuber, and a model. She's doing her favorite summer look on her blog too. So if you guys want to check out what shes got, I'll link all her stuff at the end. So let's get into this look.

I just love denim paired with white, in my opinion it's just the best combination ever. It creates the perfect summery vibe. It's also airy because it does not attract the sun. Also guys since my personal photographer (Gabs) is in Bermuda right now, I've had the funniest setup for how I take my pictures. I literally have been setting up a chair, and putting my phone on a self timer. I think these pictures turned out great through. It looks like someone took them for me. So aye I can't complain.

Thanks for viewing my post, get ready for more cool things coming up on my blog.

The Power Of No Makeup

No makeup. It's every girl's biggest fear it seems. But it's really not as bad as you may think. Lately I've been rocking the no makeup look because it's summer break, and it's like who am I trying to impress? In school I feel social pressure to fit in, and look good because everyone is so quick to judge it seems. But when it's summer break I feel like I can detox from trying to be perfectly presentable. Honestly with or without makeup, I look pretty good. I think all of us deserve to be comfortable in our own skin. We all deserve to feel like we don't have to put on a whole face of makeup, and completely change our appearance to impress society or make us feel better about our insecurities. Because no matter how many times you powder your face, you're the same person underneath. So I say for all you beauty guru's out there, try wearing no makeup for one day and see how it made you feel. I'm sure you felt more natural, or maybe even comfortable in your own skin. Just see. I think it's very powerful when you wear no makeup because it shows how confident you are with your natural self. It shows that you can conquer the world, and not care about people's view of you as much as if you were wearing makeup.

It's been really nice not wearing makeup. I feel very comfortable in my own skin, and it's becoming the norm for me. When I wear makeup, all I wear is mascara, so I'm pretty bare anyways. But going completely bare feels great. What I like about not wearing makeup is that I don't have to take off any makeup in the evening, so it makes my life easier.

Thanks for tuning into my blog, I hope I inspired some of you guys to not wear makeup, even if it's only for one day. I'll see you guys on Friday with another post.

Mid year review

We are about halfway over with 2017. That is so weird, I'm just sitting here thinking, how is it already July. But it is. So in today's post I would like to reflect on this year, and tell my upcoming goals for the rest of the year. This post is coming out late because my day just flew by, and making a blog post was the last thing I was thinking of, so I'm sure some of you guys won't see this till tomorrow.

This year has been pretty good so far. I've gotten into running which I'm very proud of. I've gotten better through time, and I'll only get better because I'm going to be running on the cross country team for my high school. My season starts in August, so I think I'll really be in shape by that point. I just feel like my glowup happened this year, and I'm still glowing up. I'm very happy with myself right now, and I've made lots of good memories this year, and met some good people. I'm just so thankful to be blessed with a great life. I've also worked very hard in school, and finished off with a 3.5 GPA this year, so I'm pretty proud of myself. So overall this year has been good so far.

My goals for the rest of the year are...

Growing my blog-I've been working on my blog a lot over the summer, and I would really want more people to view my blog, so that's a goal of mine. I'm really starting to get into writing on my blog, It's really fun, and I like knowing that people like what I have to put out there to the world.

Getting a job-I'm not 16 yet, so it's hard to find a job unfortunately, but as soon as I turn 16 I'm going to start applying to places, and really looking. I've been looking for a job at a mediocre pace, but I'm not 16 yet so I don't take it as seriously since I know my chances of getting hired are slim. So hopefully I can find a job really soon once I turn 16.

Raise my GPA even if it's only a tiny bit-For the start of my junior year I would really like to raise my GPA by working harder, even it it's only a little bit. My GPA is already pretty high, but I want it to be a tad bit higher. I'm not going to push myself too hard, but I want to try to push myself a little bit harder than I did sophomore year.

Planning out my blog posts-I really want to start planning out my blog posts, that way I can be more organized with my blog, and have everything in order. Almost always I do last minute planned posts, so planning out what will be on my blog will be very beneficial to me

That's all my goals for the rest of the year. Thank you for tuning in for another blog post. I'll see you guys on Friday with another post.

4th of July look

Hey guys, so I wanted to put together a 4th of July look so then it can give you guys inspiration for what to wear for 4th of July. I'm really excited because I'm going to the pool with my friends, and seeing fireworks with them on 4th of July. So I'm very excited. I also decided that since I have been wanting to post more, I should revert my posting schedule to every Wednesday, and Friday. So that's the new schedule. Anyway enough talking, let's get into this look.

I really like this look. I'm actually going to wear this exact outfit for 4th of July. The blue, and white really make it look like a 4th of July outfit, and it's very cute. My tips for choosing a 4th of July outfit would be to wear some sort of stripes, or stars if you want to wear a pattern. And then for the colors wear some red, white, or blue.

Photo credits go to my friend Gabby. And I edited the pictures. I think the pictures turned out really good, I've been trying to improve my photo quality, so I think this is progress. Be sure to follow Gabby's snapchat, and my Instagram. Me and Gabs are like glue, so I'm sure if you follow her, you will see lots of me. Haha anyways thanks for viewing. I hope I inspired you guys for 4th of July.

5 Simple Motivational Statements That You Need To Live By

Hey guys, I was thinking about my blog, and I would really enjoy posting more often, I bet you guys would like it too. Let me know what you think about this idea. Now let's get into the post.

1)Don't wait on things to happen, you have to take action on them now.
Stop waiting around your whole life for things to happen, because they will never happen if you don't take action towards what you want immediately. You can only get what you want if you put in the work. Nothing comes easy in life, so work hard to achieve your goals.

2)Don't stress yourself out over something stupid, It's not worth it.
All the stupid things in life that anger or frustrate us are most likely all temporary since they are stupid things. Just take a breather, and think to yourself that it doesn't matter in the long run, because usually it doesn't 95% of the time.

3)You don't have to be perfect, it's okay to mess up sometimes.
We are only human, we can't be perfect, so if you're pushing yourself too hard, take some relax time for yourself. You deserve it.

4)Going the extra mile is always worth it.
Putting in your best effort, and blowing everyone out of their socks is worth it. Because most of the time it really brightens someone's day, or has some other positive effect.

5)Nothing is impossible
Cultivate your passions, and follow your dreams, even if you think it's unreachable. Because if you are really set on something, you will find a way to make it workout. You just have to take action on it.

That's all for my motivational statements. Thanks for viewing my post, I really appreciate it. I'll see you guys soon with another post.

June Favorites

1)Still going to the pool
I still love going to the pool, I go practically everyday. It's so fun! I've been having to wash my hair more which is the only downside of going to the pool at lot, but it's totally worth it!

2)Spoonfuls of peanut butter
I don't know why this is becoming my thing, but I'm starting to get obsessed with peanut butter for some reason. It just smells and tastes so good. I usually get a spoon out, and eat it from the spoonful. I also eat it in other ways too through.

3)The trip to Charleston
Our course the Charleston trip made it to my favorites, It was just so fun. If you haven't checked out my Charleston post, go read it. Just scroll a little bit down on my home page, and you will find it.

4)Netflix
I got on Netflix guys, and now it's awesome. My friend Gabby told me about how I should be on her account, and now I'm on. We both are under the same person, that way we can both see what each other watch, and we talk about it sometimes. It's funny because we can both see what the other person is watching. #howyouknowyou'rebestfriends. Also guys I have to recommend a show, it's called Riverdale. It's really good, and will surprise you, and have you on edge the whole time. I'm not going to be giving out too many details, that way I don't spoil it, but it's about a murder case.

5)Cheesy pasta
Every time that I make pasta I always have to make this cheesy pasta. Basically you boil the pasta, and then once it's done you add some mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Then some butter, and salt. Then you mix it all together, and it makes the best tasting pasta ever.

6)Skateboarding
I've really been enjoying skateboarding, it's really fun. There is a new greenway that is being connected to the greenway right by my house, so I've been going on both greenways. I love the new greenway because the pavement is really smooth, and it makes it a smoother ride. The new greenway is actually right behind my high school too, so in the future when I have cross country practice I could just take the greenway to get there if I want.
