My Favorite Pool Floaties for Summer!

123456789

There is no doubt that I love pool floaties once it's summer time. All of my friends would know that I bring my swan pool inflatable everywhere with me once it's summer, and they all think it's kind of funny. I know pool floaties sound kind of silly since I'm not a kid anymore but they are the best for relaxing in the pool over the summer!! Lately I've been going to the pool a ton, and it is really nice. I am just so ready for summer break, and it will be here soon enough. Once it is summer I want to post a lot more on my instagram, and blog, I want to spend lots of time with my friends, and I want to start working more since I'll have nothing else to do.

This pool floatie is actually not mine, it's my friend Kat's but when I was at her house last summer we took this photo, and I thought it fit this post pretty well. Inter tubes are a good idea if you like something that is easily transportable, and easy.

Next is my beloved swan! I take this swan pool floatie literally everywhere with me over summer. I'll just stuff it in anyone's car and then off we go to the pool. This swan looks really instagrammable, and I feel that's why I like it so much because I can take nice photos with it.

That was all of my favorite pool floaties, I hope lots of you guys get outside, and have some fun over summer. I can't wait to share more summery posts with you guys, and I can't wait to post a lot more! Until next week, take care.

My new bed

1)My New Bed
Guys can I just talk about how much I love my new bed, and best part of all I got it for free but then I had to buy bedding stuff. So the story behind this bed is that my grandparents are moving out of thier house, and they didn't want some of their furniture anymore, so they asked my family if we wanted it, and we said yes. So now I got a queen bed! I feel like I just upped my bed game, and I feel more adultish because before I had a twin bed. I have so much space now, and it's so cozy! I just love it.

2)The Cross Country Team
You guys may or may not know that I'm on the cross country team for my high school. It is honestly so great, and I've made lots of new friends through cross country. The season is just now kicking off, and we are competing in lots of great meets. I am the 4th or 5th fastest girl on the team, and it's my first year. So making varsity my first year is a pretty big deal because all the other newbie girls are way behind me. I ran 3 miles in 22 minutes, and 37 seconds in my last race, just so you guys can get an idea of what fitness level I'm at. Running just makes me feel so good, and I should really talk about it more on my blog, but my audience is mostly other fashion, and lifestyle bloggers so I try to stay on topic with what my audience wants. But let me know if you would like to see running related things on my blog because I would love to post about it.

DIY planter

3)DIY projects
This month I've really been getting inspired to do more DIY projects primarily for my room. Since I launched my new home series "At Home With Sugarcoatedbears", I've been looking at ideas that I can include in the series. And watch out because my first post in the series will be out in the next couple of weeks or less. I'm like seriously loving DIY's through, like you can make something that is super cute, for barely any money. That's what I like about DIY projects!!

Me stretching

4)Stretching, and Rolling Out Every Night
For these past couple of months I've gotten into the routine of stretching, and rolling my legs every night. For runners you really need to stretch a lot, and roll your legs that way you can prevent injuries. And I just love stretching! It's gotten to the point where I don't feel productive If  I don't stretch. I really notice a difference from stretching. My body feels more loose, I get a better night of sleep, and best of all-it relaxes me. It just really is a winner, and I'm really all about it. Also if you've never heard of rolling out before, it's pretty much using a foam roller or other roller kind of thing and rolling your legs with it.

My Instagram

5)Instagram
Guys I am obsessed with Instagram!!! Ever since I started to focus on my blog more, I've been more present on social media. And over summer break I am proud to say that I spent a least two hours on Instagram everyday. It's just a thing that bloggers gotta do to promote their stuff. And not to mention how certain techniques bring tons of more traffic, and opportunities for you if you're a blogger or "influencer". I get so inspired scrolling through my feed, and seeing everyone's cute outfits, random food items, and home inspiration. I just love it!! But with school in session now, I won't have tons of time to be on Instagram because my focus is on school. Also you guys can follow me on Instagram @sugarcoatedbears

Anyways thanks for checking out this post. And I'll see you guys on Friday with another blog post.

1)These Sunglasses
Guys I am officially obsessed with these sunglasses. They are so cute, and they are actually my only pair of sunglasses. #i'malowkeyminimalist. I've been wearing these almost everyday, and they are super adorable.

2)Castle Crush
I may sound really nerdy, but for real this game is so entertaining. So the story behind this game was that I was just browsing through the app store, and then I came across castle crush, and then I was like "that sounds fun", so then a downloaded it, and now I love it. Basically you battle other people, and try to upgrade yourself as much possible so you can have more victories. If you guys are looking for an entertaining game, you have to download this game.

3)My birthday
I turned 16 this month!! I literally already thought of myself as 16 a year ago, I just didn't feel 15 my sophomore year of high school, I felt 16. But now I'm officially 16. I had a birthday party sleepover with my friends last Saturday, and it was very fun. Then on my actual birthday last Thursday I just had my friend Gabby(aka my personal photographer) come over, and we made cake, and hungout. Then on Monday I went birthday shopping with my grandparents, and ate Kanki. Can I just say that Kanki's white sauce is bomb!!! So yeah I had a really good birthday!!

4)Getting my permit
If you guys didn't know already, I got my permit this month. So I can drive now! But to be honest I'm really not excited to drive, I only drive sometimes because I'd just rather have someone else drive. I'm a pretty decent driver, I'm not good or bad, but driving makes me stressed. I just feel like I have to be a perfect driver, even through I'm not. I literally suck at pulling into my driveway because it's a hill. And not to mention I almost ruined the rock display by the mailbox because of trying to pull into the driveway. So you know, It's just easier for someone else to do it.

5)My running watch
I got this running watch from my mom for my birthday, and I love it! If you guys didn't know, I'm a runner, and I run on my highschool cross country team. The watch keeps track of my daily step count, and when I go running I can record my time, and see the stats of my run. I just love it! It's also very good for someone who has a very active lifestyle.

That's all for this post, I'll see you guys on Friday for another post.

1)Still going to the pool
I still love going to the pool, I go practically everyday. It's so fun! I've been having to wash my hair more which is the only downside of going to the pool at lot, but it's totally worth it!

2)Spoonfuls of peanut butter
I don't know why this is becoming my thing, but I'm starting to get obsessed with peanut butter for some reason. It just smells and tastes so good. I usually get a spoon out, and eat it from the spoonful. I also eat it in other ways too through.

3)The trip to Charleston
Our course the Charleston trip made it to my favorites, It was just so fun. If you haven't checked out my Charleston post, go read it. Just scroll a little bit down on my home page, and you will find it.

4)Netflix
I got on Netflix guys, and now it's awesome. My friend Gabby told me about how I should be on her account, and now I'm on. We both are under the same person, that way we can both see what each other watch, and we talk about it sometimes. It's funny because we can both see what the other person is watching. #howyouknowyou'rebestfriends. Also guys I have to recommend a show, it's called Riverdale. It's really good, and will surprise you, and have you on edge the whole time. I'm not going to be giving out too many details, that way I don't spoil it, but it's about a murder case.

5)Cheesy pasta
Every time that I make pasta I always have to make this cheesy pasta. Basically you boil the pasta, and then once it's done you add some mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Then some butter, and salt. Then you mix it all together, and it makes the best tasting pasta ever.

6)Skateboarding
I've really been enjoying skateboarding, it's really fun. There is a new greenway that is being connected to the greenway right by my house, so I've been going on both greenways. I love the new greenway because the pavement is really smooth, and it makes it a smoother ride. The new greenway is actually right behind my high school too, so in the future when I have cross country practice I could just take the greenway to get there if I want.

1)Going to the pool
I love going to the pool with Gabby. We go a lot, and now that summer break is only a couple of days away we will probably go everyday. It's fun to toss a football in the pool, and to race each other in the pool. Gabs used to swim so she always beats me, but hopefully I can catch up to her when we race this summer. Also don't I look really hot in this pic? Haha my confidence is too high.

2)Pinterest
Guys I'm literally addicted to Pinterest, It gives me so many ideas and vibes. It's like a bunch of mood boards, and then I can look at them when I'm feeling a certain vibe. Like if I want summer vibes I can just go to my summer board. It's just fun to look at all the pictures.

3)Yoga
I really love yoga. It's probably my 2nd favorite fitness health related activity to do. Of course running is my first. But yoga really clears my mind, and eases me mentally, and physically. Also guys can we just talk about how much I love shavasana at the end of yoga class. In yoga it's all stretching, and breathing which is very healthy for you. I should do a whole post about why you should do yoga. But before then I'm going to convince you to do it now. So here are some benefits!
-Increased Flexibility
-Increased muscle tone and strength
-Improved respiration, energy, and vitality
 -Maintains a balanced metabolism
-Reduces weight
-Helps manage stress
-Creates mental clarity and calmness
-Cardio and circulatory health
-You become more connected to the earth
-Increases the body''s awareness
-Improved athletic performance
-Protection from injury.

There's more benefits then this by the way, but I'm just listing some. Anyways I'll preach about it later.

4)Running
I totally don't have a photo of me running so I'm just going to put a picture of tennis shoes. You know I actually got real running shoes yesterday, and when I ran in them a little bit, I was like wow. Like they feel really nice compared to my tennis shoes that I was running in. Anyways I love running, I just had to mention it again because it makes me feel so good. It's starting to be one of those things that I just have to do otherwise I will feel weird.

5)Tanning
I've been trying to get a tan since it's starting to become summer, and it's sort of working out, but not much. I have tan lines, but I only look a tad bit darker. So I'm trying to up my tan game. Once it's summer break I'll actually have time to tan, so I'll get a tan, I just have to give it time. Then when I get a tan I'll be hype.

April Favorites

Long time no see. I've been busy with school, and I've honestly forgotten to post for a couple weeks because I was thinking of other tasks. Oops. At least I remembered this week. But for reals my posting schedule may be a little weird until summer break, just because there's a lot going on with school and all that. But anyways time to get into this.

1)Going to the strawberry farm
Since it's strawberry season, that means it's time to go get a nice batch of juicy strawberry's from Hunt's strawberry farm. Me and my mom go to Hunt's strawberry farm every weekend and pick strawberries. Guys I gotta tell you, once you go pick your own strawberries, you will never buy store bought strawberries again. Hunt's strawberries taste almost 100% more better than store bought strawberries. Not trying to bash on store bought strawberries too much, but they don't even really taste like anything. Organic, farm grown, fresh strawberries that you can pick yourself are the way to go.

2)Jane Filer's art show
I don't know if any of my viewers/audience know who Jane Filer is, but she is basically a really good artist who doesn't paint like anyone else, and has her own style of art. Her paintings also sell for a lot because they are amazing, and very unique. So my family really likes Jane Filer's art, and she was having an art show, so we went a couple of weekends ago, and the whole show was so good. In this photo I am standing in front of my favorite painting from the whole show. I really like the three creatures at the bottom. I really have an appreciation for Jane Filer's work because her paintings have so much detail, and they are museum worthy. If you guys haven't checked out Jane Filer yet, I would do that because her work is so good, and I really enjoyed her art show.

3)My friend, Sarah's birthday party sleepover/campout
So my friend Sarah turned 16 and she had a birthday party, and my whole squad managed to keep me up till 2 am, so kinda crazy because you'll catch me in bed by 8. So at her birthday party everyone brought tents, and we camped out in her backyard, or at least we tried. And it was really fun because we did water balloons, watched grease, and just hung-out. The whole squad tried camping out, but at 2 in the morning we went back into the house because it was uncomfortable because we didn't have an air mattress, and we also didn't have enough blankets. We also kept hearing these weird banging sounds, it was almost like someone was hitting something up against a tree, but we don't know. But anyways it was really fun.

4)Spring Break
Spring break was so relaxing, and I just hung around the house and watched Jerry Springer, Fix it Upper, and House Hunters. I also hung out with gabs too. It felt so good to have a break, I wish It could be spring or summer break right now. Preferably summer break. I'm so overwhelmed with school right now to be honest. I spent my entire Friday and Saturday doing work, because I want my lazy Sunday. I'm glad I did that because today was nice.

5)Easter
Easter was fun, we didn't really do anything special except eat good food. There is a photo of flowers as the picture because we didn't take any Easter photos. Easter was just like Thanksgiving because we had the same meal for both holidays. Literally the meal tastes so good, it includes turkey, and mashed potatoes. And it's like you gotta dump the whole thing of gravy on it otherwise that ruins it. But yeah Easter deserves to be put on here because it's one of the best meals ever!!!

March Favorites

1)Eating more "vegetarian/vegan"
I've been trying to be vegetarian and a little vegan, but I'm not fully committed to it or anything. I'm really enjoying it, and I've been eating lots of fruit and it's just so good. It just feels so good to know that I'm not supporting animal cruelty. Like yeah I'll still eat some chicken and all that every now and then, but I'm just eating meat and dairy less. I noticed that everything has become easier to digest, I feel more lightweight, and I have more energy. Also guys, get excited because I want to put some vegan food recipes on my blog that are really good.

2)My planner
I love my planner!! It helps me organize all my school assignments, and I can write down what I need to do for the day. All I have to do is check my planner and then boom I know what I have to do. I like how it has a day planner and a calendar, that way I can keep up with daily and monthly things.

3)Protein shakes
Protein shakes are awesome, they are very good meal replacements and whenever I make my protein shakes, I put tons of peanut butter in it to make it taste so good. Protein shakes are very easy to make too all you gotta do is put some protein powder in a smoothie blender thing, add peanut butter, and milk and then blend. And your good to go.

4)Chilling outside on the back porch
It's been getting warmer here in North Carolina, and that means spending more time outside. I set up my little hangout spot on the back porch, I just put some cushions on the ground, and a couple pillows, and it makes for the perfect outdoor couch. I enjoy being on my laptop, or tanning out there. Being outside makes me feel stress-free too, which is great when I got lots of schoolwork.

5)Coconut omega 3 stuff
Oh my god guys this is my obsession. So there is this liquidy omega 3 stuff that I eat a spoonful of everyday, and it's so good. I'm so surprised that there is no sugar in it at all, because it tastes so sweet. You can get it at spouts market by the way.

February Favorites

I know it's kinda late for this but here's my February favorites. The reason why I haven't been posting for 2 weeks is because I honestly forgot to make a post. I want to make it a good habit to post from here on out every week. I really want to do that. So today I'm going to post 2 things to make up for my absence. I also want to start adding more health related stuff on my blog, because I'm really into that. Also, I might change the design of my blog maybe. Now let's get into it!
1)Working out
Gosh I love working out! We renewed the gym membership and I've been going there almost everyday since. I really enjoy it because it makes me feel good physically and mentally. By the way my workout routine usually consists of 30 minutes on the arc trainer and then 20 minutes doing weights.

2)Turmeric and black pepper eggs
I eat turmeric and black pepper eggs everyday. And let me tell you, I'm obsessed with turmeric and black pepper eggs. You would think it would taste gross but it actually tastes good. The benefits of turmeric and black pepper are that it improves liver function, anti-inflammatory, detoxifies your body, fights against cancer, promotes weight loss, and improves memory performance.
The black pepper makes the turmeric work 2X as much so I suggest using the black pepper when you use the turmeric to make the benefits more effective.

3)The sorta warm weather
I love how it's been sorta warm. North Carolina is so weird because the weather has been off and on and it's actually suppose to snow on Sunday but it's just so weird because all the flowers are blooming outside. But when it is warm, I have been enjoying it. But when it's cold, I get annoyed. Also look at my stinks in that photo!! So cute!

4)Quizlet
So this is kinda nerdy but quizlet has helped me study so much better and get good grades on my tests. If you didn't know quizlet is an online website that you can create digital flashcards on and then you can study with the flashcards. For me this works really well because I'd rather save the paper and have my flashcards be digital.

January Favorites

1)Taking baths
I've been loving baths this month, they are so great when you are cold, and you can just warm up in the bath. I love to use lush products in the bath, even though they are a little bit expensive. I enjoy the bubble bars, and bath bombs a lot. It's just so nice to relax in a hot bubble bath. I actually got "hot bath nausea" one time because the water was so hot. So if you're going to take a bath make sure you don't turn the water too hot.

2)Twisted Peppermint Lotion
I've been using this lotion like crazy and it smells so good! Auntie Marilyn got this for me for Christmas and I love it so much. It's a  really good winter smell.

3)Cuddling my Nugget
This is always a favorite but it seems like during the colder months it's more of a favorite. My puppy is just so warm and cozy and I love her so much. She also gets away with everything because she's so cute! I just wanted to put this in here because there can never be enough nugget appreciation.

4)Trying to figure out my life
I don't know if this is really a favorite but I thought I would include it. It seems like this month I have really been trying to figure out aspects of my life. This month I have started doing college research, and I have been getting myself prepared for applying for a job. I have been working on gathering references and just making sure I have everything together. It's been stressing me out but I think it's worth the stress. By the way, I'm looking for a job at Arby's, but I haven't applied yet because I still need to get my references. And I broke my phone this month while rollerskating, and it just made me realize that I shouldn't hand people my phone because they will drop it. And to just be careful with my devices. So I feel like this is just the month of all that.

5)Snow!
The snow was awesome this month, and I loved going sledding. I already made an entire post about the snow so let's no go into too much detail. But basically I cozied up inside, went sledding, took some photos, and that's about it.
