Custom Cards For Valentines Day

Valentines day is just around the corner, and that means spending time with your loved one, or being forever alone and eating ice cream by yourself in the corner. Which ever persona you are now is the time to start thinking of gift ideas, and if you guys didn't already check out my His and Hers Valentines Day Guide you can check it out here. I know not everyone is into Valentines day, but Valentines day would be a good time to show some love, even if you don't have a significant other. I came across Basic Invite, and they actually do custom invitations, and custom cards for pretty much any event. They actually have over 180 different color options to choose from, and lots of different designs too. Whether it be announcements, or sweet sixteen invitations, they got you covered. Their designs are absolutely gorgeous!! This will be my new go-to place for cards now because they have good service, lots of design options, and all of their stuff is customizable. Basic Invite is not expensive either, and they are good if you like to personalize your cards a lot, and if you're looking for a gorgeous design.

When i first ordered the cards i thought they were going to be pretty, but when i got them in the mail i was really impressed because they were stunning. I'm not even a stationary person either but i was impressed. I love how they turned out, and i will gladly be giving these away on valentines day to my family, and friends. The photos don't do justice, you would just have to see them in real life because the cards i received were so pretty.

I made one for my best friend Gabby, and i custom wrote on it, "girl you're an awesome friend, and i seriously don't know what i would do without you as my friend. I wish you a happy Valentines day, and we can both twin with the #singlelife. And we will probably accidentally twin on Tuesday or something because that's just how we are. But i appreciate spending time with you, and you are the bestest friend anyone could ask for. I remember when i first met you i was like "i have to become friends with her", and now we are so aye. -Courtney" I love the message that i wrote on her card because we always accidentally twin, and now i can empathize it on a card.

This next card is so cute because i have my dog on it! With basic invite you can customize pretty much everything, so on this design i changed the colors around, added photos of my dog, and changed the text. I love how customizable their cards are, and customizing a card is a great way to add a personal touch to a card, and make the receiver of the card feel awesome. Basic Invite has raised, or flat text, 180 different colors, customizable foil, over 40 different colors of envelopes, and 7 types of paper to print it on. I think they are the best option for customizing a card because they have tons of designs, and lots of design elements that you could use on the cards. For my 17th birthday this year, or any other events I'm going to go to basic invite because their stuff is awesome, and there are so many different ways you could design something. Another thing to note about them is that they have an address capturing service where you can share a link on social media to request to have your friends and families addresses captured in your account so then you can send the cards out to them easier.

I made a little card for my pantry that is in my room just to make my pantry prettier. So even if you aren't getting a card for someone you can personalize something that you would use yourself. I love the little phrase i put on there, it's kind of funny. This pantry card was actually one of their holiday designs, and i revamped it, so you can pretty much take any of their designs and revamp it to be something you would like.

I also loved their little stationary cards, they are so cute if you want to write a little note to someone, or write a little phase. I hope you enjoyed this post, and got some inspiration from it. Thanks so much to Basic Invite for sponsoring this post, and i highly recommend using them for personalizing cards, or invitations. They are having a 15% off sale right now with the coupon 15FF51 if you want to go make your custom stuff. I'll see you guys on Tuesday with another blog post, and i hope you guys have a wonderful rest of your week.

Some Valentines Day Picks From Gamiss

Do y'all have no idea what to wear for Valentines day? It's coming up quickly, and you may be going out on a special date with someone, or you may just want to dress up in general. Gamiss emailed me to tell me about their valentines sale. Their sale is up to 70% off on items, and they are holding their sale for 8 more days and then it will be over. Just in case if you don't know who Gamiss is, they are a clothing brand that specializes in affordable fashion. You can check out  Gamiss's valentines gifts on their site, they have really cute valentines day gifts if your loved one enjoys clothing, and fashion. Also this post is sponsored, but all thoughts are my own. To talk about valentines day, literally everyone at my school is going to be all lovey dovey on valentines day, and making out in the hallway probably. I'm just not looking forward to seeing that because it's like get a room. But anyways to talk about the picks, all of these things have a romantic, and valentines day color scheme, so they are good to wear if you're going for a romantic look. Really the best option of what to wear for valentines day would be to go with a red, or pink dress. It's basic, cute, and has that romantic vibe that you're probably aiming for. If you're going on a date i would dress up an outfit with some heels, and then i would go for natural makeup to not overdo it. So those are some of my valentines day pieces of advice for what to wear outfit wise.

1) Lace Panel Sleeveless Longline Blouse-A good basic pink top would be good for a casual kind of valentines day if you're not doing anything special really.

2) Floral Printed Back V Maxi Dress-This kind of a dress would be good if you're going out for a cute dinner date, or just a date in general. It would spice up the outfit to look very romantic, and fit the occasion of valentines day.

3) Lace Panel Off The Shoulder Vintage Flare Dress-This is a cute, and simple sexy dress that would be good if you want to show off your shoulders a little bit, but still be modest. Lace details are also good in general for valentines day because it's pretty, and adds sophistication to a look.

4) Butterfly Knot Flat Bottomed Beach Sandals-These sandals are really cute because they have a bow on it. Dressing more girly for valentines day is always good because it fits the holiday. These sandals would be good to top off a cute valentines day look.

5) Corduroy Frayed Hem Mini Skirt-This skirt would be good if you don't feel like wearing a dress. You could pair this skirt with a romantic looking top, and it would complete the outfit. This kind of a skirt would also be good for a casual outfit if you're not trying to be fancy.

That's all for today's post, i hope i inspired some of y'all on what to wear for valentines day. I've never been a huge fan of valentines day but if you are, i hope i inspired you on what to wear. I know it's a bit early to be doing valentines day posts, but i just wanted to tell you about Gamiss's valentines day sale going on. I will see you guys on Friday with my cringy style evolution post. Get ready!!!!

Last Minute Stocking Stuffers for Her

There is so doubt that Christmas time is the most hectic time of the year. You have to put together everyone's presents, and get stuff done before you go on break. It can sometimes be super overwhelming, and you may be trying to get everyone's gift last minute because you simply don't have much time to get gifts for people. So here I am with a last minute stocking stuffer gift guide for the people out there needing some assistance with stockings. All of these items I linked are quite small and inexpensive, and these are great ideas for stocking stuffers because they are little things that you can throw in a stocking pretty easily. Also Ya'll can you believe that there is only four more days till Christmas?! That is so insane. This year really went by fast, and it's just crazy how it's almost 2018. But enough rambling let's talk about the gifts.

1)Anthropologie Splash Tunes Dual Wireless Speaker-Speakers are great gifts because you never know when you want to jam out to some awesome music, or listen to a podcast or video at a better volume. Speakers are so useful and great for social gatherings and entertainment in general.

2)Loft Star & Plaid No Show Sock Set-Socks are such a great gift. I remember when I was a kid I would be mad to get socks in my stocking, but now I love getting socks. They are always what I ask for as a stocking stuffer. They are good as a practical kind of gift, and for being cozy in general.

3)Maybelline® Lash Sensational™ Mascara-Ya'll I'm going to be real here, a girl always needs mascara. I barely refresh my mascara, I'll legit use the same one for half a year, and it's gross. Stocking up on mascara can never hurt.

4)ShopBop Triple Tier Drop Earrings-Earrings are always a good gift because it's hard to not like earrings. I've been loving tassel earrings and drop down earrings in general. They look so good, and can spice up any outfit.

5)Anthropologie Golden Heart Portable Charger-Guys you don't even know how useful portable chargers are. I can't even tell you how many times I have been at a track meet and then my phone is about to die.

Black Friday Deals: His and Her Holiday Gift Guide

Hey guy's I'm back with another blog post. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. Today I'll be sharing a his and her gift guide. All of the items listed are at least 30% off or higher on black Friday special.

Shop Items

1)Steve Madden Belted Waffle Woven Coat(40% off)
You can never go wrong with a winter coat. The colder weather is starting to kick in, and everyone could use a nice coat. I wear the same one practically everyday, but having different styles or variety can always be fun. Coats also have different kinds of heaviness, so when choosing a coat you should consider what climate you live in, and how much warmth you'll need.

Guys Kate Spade is having some amazing sales for black friday!! I'm so excited because Kate Spade is one of my favorite designers, and this monkey keychain is so cute! Keychains are always a nice addition to add to bags to add a little bit of style to the bag, and to spice things up.

3)Tarte Golden Day Dreams Eye & Cheek Palette(50% off )
A lot of girls love makeup, and it's a really easy stocking stuffier kind of gift. I would say just know what type of makeup she wears, what colors she likes, and then decide from there what would work the best.

4)Arianna Boots The Original Duck Boot(50% off)
Duck Boots are really good if you like hiking, and this could be a versatile kind of gift. This gift could work for men or woman, but I just put it on the woman's list because these boots I linked are woman's boots. But duck boots are really comfy, and a classic style of boots that really never go out of style, and you can get a lot of wear from them.

5)BP. Bar Pendant Necklace(50% off)
A statement necklace can really make a big difference to an outfit especially if it's a simple top. It's just one of those staples that are in almost every woman's wardrobe, and they can really make an outfit pop.

6)Kate Spade Nylon Cosmetic Pouch(60% off)
I feel like girls can never really have enough cosmetic pouches because usually we are crazy about our skincare, and beauty products. I personally need a new cosmetic bag because my other one got destroyed because foundation leaked all over it. So stuff happens, you never know when you need a new one haha.

Baker Boy hats have really been in trend lately, and they are just the cutest trend. Baker boy hats look so chic, and kind of vintagy, and it can really add a cool element to an outfit. Like if you mix modern pieces with a baker boy hat it can look really sophisticated, and quite stylish. They would be a great present for the sophisticated kind of woman who enjoys going out of their comfort zone with style.

8)Max Studio Pleated Georgette Off-the-Shoulder Blouse(70% off)
So this is like a high school trend. Literally at my high school everyone wears off-the-shoulder-blouses. I have a couple myself but I only wear them in the warmer weather. This would be a good gift for a teenage girl, or someone that enjoys the look of off-the-shoulder tops. I have seen other older aged fashion bloggers wearing off-the-shoulder tops too, so maybe this is a universal trend for woman. I'm not sure but they do look pretty cute.

9)Kenneth Cole Rose Gold-Tone Crackled Crystal Drop Earrings(70% off)
Earrings are an easy kind of present to get if you have no idea what the person wants and they have pierced ears. It's hard to go wrong with earrings unless you get ones that are super ugly, and that they will never wear. But ladies have good fashion sense, so it's hard to go wrong with a nice pair of earrings. Just think of the style that they might like, and if they are a casual dresser get them something casual. Just base the choice of earrings off of their style, and then you should be good.

10)Vince Camuto Crossbody Satchel(70% off)
Girls love purses, let's be real. They are super cute, and they are a great gift if you want to splurge a little bit. But at this time of the year designers are marketing those prices down, so now would be the best time to buy a designer bag. A little off topic but two years ago I got a limited edition Kate Spade crossbody(it's the bow crossbody that you guy's always see in Instagram pictures, and in looks). It was a little over one hundred dollars, which actually was not bad at all for limited edition considering some people are buying one thousand dollar Gucci purses. But normally I bet it would be two times the price because Kate Spade bags don't go on sale too much for that kind of price, if anything you'd be lucky to get a purse for two hundred dollars in the non holiday season. So I highly recommend if you want to invest in a bag I would do it in the holiday season because it's at it's cheapest price.

11)ALALA Edge Ankle Leggings(70% off)
Okay does anyone else love getting new working gear or is it just me? Literally when I get new workout gear I run on the sidewalk of the busy road that's near my house just to show off my new gear to everyone, and be like "look at these nikes!!" Even through no one cares but it's fun. But anyways if you're trying to get a gift for a woman that is athletic, you can pretty much guarantee that they will like some new workout gear.

12)Saks Fifth Avenue Wine Not Slippers(70% off)
I thought these slippers were funny because they are perfect for someone that loves wine. But slippers in general woman like because they keep our feet warm. We get cold s easily, so it's the perfect gift if you know someone that always has to be warm, and cozy.

2)Fred Perry Kingston Leather Sneakers(59% off)
If you need some new shoes black Friday is the perfect time to get them. I actually am getting some duck boots because they were an epic deal, they are actually the same duck boots listed in the woman's gift guide above .

3)Calvin Klein Boxer Briefs Pack of 3(49% off)
Underwear is a good gift for guys just because guys always need underwear.

4)Tommy Hilfiger Emmett Canvas Backpack(59% off)
Backpacks are always good for athletic people because we always have to lug around all of our gear, so a backpack is a must for either men or woman because we need to carry stuff. Me being an athlete myself I don't know what I would do without a backpack at cross country or track meets because I need to carry a blanket for the bus, my uniform, and other clothes.

5)Gilt Wireless Box Speaker(63% off)
Speakers!!! You can't go wrong with a speaker. Whatever music you're listening to speakers can make the sound quality better, and amplify the music.

I threw this in there as a gag gift. I think it's always funny to throw in a gag. I loved this one.

Belts are good if you always have loose pants. They are a wardrobe staple for both men and woman, and are quite useful.

12)Hue Roll Top Socks(72% off)
I hate when I get holes in my socks guys. But I'm glad it's black Friday because now I can stock up on socks. Socks are always a good idea.

That's all for my black Friday deals!! Happy shopping, and I'll see you guys on Tuesday with another post.

Holiday Guide: Christmas Greenery

Do you want to know how to transform your Christmas greenery for free? In this holiday guide I will tell you how to make your greenery look full and luxurious for little to no cost. So what you will need is some cheap garland from the dollar store, some yard clippings(preferably evergreen, pine, or Christmas tree clippings), ribbon or something like ribbon to secure the garland, and some ornaments or other decorations to put in the garland.

So first you will lay out your cheap dollar store garland on wherever you want your garland to be. Next thing you will do is get your ribbon and tie the garland to wherever you're putting it. That way when you stick all the yard clippings in it will actually stay. Next you will stick your yard clippings in. You know what I love about using yard clippings is it makes your garland look more real, and it makes it smell good too. Not to mention it's free. You could also use those little Christmas picks that you can get at the store and stick it in, if you don't want to use yard clippings. There is not really a technique to sticking it in, other than making sure you stick all the clippings in evenly so there won't be a large lump of garland, and a small lump. Also don't be afraid to stick in pine cones or random sticks, get creative with it. Once you got your gorgeous garland all set up, decorate it. You can pretty much use anything you want. For a nice contrast you could try doing a variety between small and big ornaments. That's what I did for the garland that I did this year, and it looks great.

Before

After

The transformation is amazing! For this year's garland it was under two dollars. Isn't that amazing, and it looks great. And you could use this technique with any Christmas greenery, I just happen to use it with garland. Also warning you will have to vacuum afterwards but it's worth it for some amazing looking garland.

Who's ready for Christmas? I am dude. On this blog every single week leading up until Christmas I'm going to have a new holiday guide post. It's going to be awesome and I'm really excited to show you guys my Christmas lookbook and Christmas room tour coming soon. So get ready!!!!! See you in next week's holiday post!
