Today I'm going to be telling you how I make my smoothies. I make a lot of smoothies so I thought I would tell you guys what I put in my smoothies. So let's get started.
Ingredients:
-Berry Medley
It's good to use a mix of berries in a smoothie because it tastes better, and you get a mix of vitamins too. The one that my family uses includes blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. With this combination, I receive lots of vitamins. From the blueberries I receive vitamin K,vitamin C, and Manganese. From the Blackberries I receive vitamin E, Folate, Magnesium, Potassium, Dietary fiber, Vitamin K. Manganese, and Vitamin C. From the raspberries I receive vitamin C. Manganese, Pantothenic acid, Biotin, Vitamin E, Magnesium, Folate, Omega-3, and Potassium. So dang that's a lot of vitamins. The reason why I'm saying all the vitamins that are in these foods are because I want to encourage you, my readers to be healthy.
-One Banana
I include one banana because this adds a more tropical and fruity taste to the smoothie and it has a good source of Vitamin B6 and Vitamin C.
-Wheat Germ
You may be wondering, what is wheat germ? Basically wheat germ is the part of wheat that spouts into a new plant. It's very rich in vitamins, minerals, and protein. What I receive from the wheat germ is vitamin E, folic acid, magnesium, vitamin B, phosphorous, and zinc. The good thing is that you can't even taste it in the smoothie either, so aye why not get healthy and have it taste good.
-Iodine
This is probably another one that you may be wondering what it is. So Iodine is a mineral, and basically you just put it in drinks, and it gives you that mineral. A lot of people are deficient in iodine and that is bad because you need iodine for your thyroid hormones. More than 96 percent of over 5,000 patients tested were iodine deficient, in a clinical study conducted by thyroid expert Dr. David Brownstein. And that's crazy. Iodine has a lot of benefits such as increasing your energy levels, balancing your thyroid, protects from cancer and pathogens, and it improves hair growth-if you're trying to grow out your hair.
-Filtered Water
Make sure you use filtered water if you're going to use water. Orange juice or almond milk would be another good option too.
Steps:
-Put all the Ingredients in the smoothie blender container
-Put the top on then blend until you think it's well blended
Turn off the blender, then enjoy
like Father, like Daughter
